Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

The little blue pill known as Viagra has made a lot of people happy especially those suffering from the symptoms of erectile dysfunction. Viagra has responded to a medical problem that has boggled the minds of doctors for years. With this drug, patients with erectile dysfunction are now able to lead normal sexual lives with their partners. But lately, a lot of problems have been associated with Viagra use including the following issues we have listed below which include intamacy the cost of viagra and the tempatation of men experimenting with other women now that they are able to sustain an erection, check them out: Lack of intimacy

While majority of male patients with erectile dysfunction have expressed their satisfaction with Viagra, their sexual partners have claimed otherwise. The complain however does not arise from the failure of their partners to achieve an erection up to the completion of the sexual act (which is what Viagra is all about) but stems from the seeming lack of intimacy in their sexual relationship. Men have to take in Viagra before engaging in any sexual activity so the spontaneity of the moment is almost gone. Furthermore, men taking in Viagra usually forego the romantic dinners and drinking as it can affect the efficacy of the drug. In short, the sexual partners of Viagra users complain that buying Viagra has taken romance away.

Financial burden

While Viagra can help men achieve and maintain an erection throughout the sexual act, it is however a temporary cure. This means that it can be a maintenance drug for as long as you want to engage in sexual activity and your erectile dysfunction system persists. While the cost of Viagra is not prohibitory at all, it can be an additional expense especially for those who can not engage in the sexual act without Viagra. Once your prescription is depleted you have to refill your medication and this means additional burden on your bank account. To make up for the cost of Viagra online most men would want to get the most of the drug as possible.

Encouraging promiscuity

Viagra is so potent that some men are tempted to engage in promiscuity to test their newfound “sexual power”. This can be detrimental for relationships since most men who have renewed sex drives because of Viagra may feel that their sexual needs are not being satisfied by their wives or their partners. And when a man starts to look for sexual satisfaction somewhere else it can be the start of relationship problems.

Viagra may be effective in curbing the symptoms of erectile dysfunction among men but it should only be taken in after consulting not only with your doctor but also with your partner. While sex is important in a relationship, it is not everything and it is better if there is a consensus between husband and wife or partners before taking in Viagra to make sure that possible issues that may arise out of using Viagra are threshed out from the start.
